Our unique STEM Pod experience uses innovative technology, video, interactive games, mesmerizing projection, and intriguing objects, suspended above the working laboratories of the Blizard Institute, Queen Mary University of London.
Dive into science like never before
We share insights into the world of biomedical sciences and the roles of scientists. Suitable for budding scientists aged 7 and upwards, our award-winning STEM Pod can accommodate up to 30 people seated. The experience is supported by our Learning Team and where possible Queen Mary University of London researchers and medical & dental students from the faculty of medicine and dentistry, who are experts in their fields.
Working alongside our researchers, we deliver an introduction to cells, what happens when they go wrong, and the research and opportunities people can have in science. Our games are co-developed with academics, and we illuminate a series of organs that are kindly on loan from the Barts Pathology Museum to show our own biology.
